......after several days of rain. The mountains here are as green as I've seen them. They are absolutely breath taking.
I've been so busy I almost forgot Mother's Day. However, my children wouldn't let me forget. Both Bruce and I are motherless, so we enjoyed sweet and precious memories.
Katrina and Jess cooked a lovely meal for me, they pulled out all of the stops. Dutch letters have long been a family favorite. Flakey pastry filled with almond paste goodness. They sent me home with some to have for my breakfast!
My M came presented with whipped cream and berries and toasted almonds. We returned home with full stomachs and hearts overflowing with the warmth of their love and thoughtfulness.
Here are a few peeks at Dawn's booth.......who by the way set out yesterday morning and got as far as Rock Springs, Wyoming, where the roads were closed. We have blue skies and sunshine here, so hopefully the road situation clears up for her today.
These are 2 of Dawn's designs. She brought piles of beautiful wool with her.....so of course I stocked up for my kits.
Featured here is her ornaments. What a charming way to use up small scraps of wool and to use her crazy stitches. These could be amazing family heirlooms.
Here is my snowman pillow which she has used her stitch packet on. A great addition.
One last look......Please remember tomorrow I will announce the winners for my monthly drawing. The winners will be listed on tomorrows blog.
