Oh Baby!.....it's cold outside....

thirteen degrees......brrrrrr!   As my daughter Abbie would say, "It's the polar ice caps."  Even so, my friend Nancy asked me to join her out for dinner, and that's just what I did.

And here we are, all smiles with our full tummies and looking forward to sharing desert.......banana cream pie.  We were the hat ladies!

The pattern for Field of Flowers is now complete and on my web site for sale.  I hope to be making kits soon.

For The New Year.

I will be taking New Years day off to share a very relaxing morning with my husband and I'll be back on Friday.

  9. Norma, I just started working on the Winter Wonderland kit that I bought from you. The 4 log cabin corner blocks turned out great but I don't have enough of the 4 red plaids for the stars. There is no way that I can get a 3 1/2 in square and 16 --2 in.squares out of the fabric that you sent for each star. I noticed that the fabric requirements for each star is a fat eighth and you sent fabric measuring about 8 by 9. I wish that I had some to substitute but I'm low on homespuns.
    Sorry to bother you.
