A new fresh work week...and my hubby is home today, so that is a bonus. In remembering Martin Luther King, I want to share one of his famous quotes that strikes a chord with me...."Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."
I'm making progress on the applique blocks.....and enjoying every minute of it.
I enjoyed stitching time today while watching foot ball with Bruce. I have bunches of things going on right now. I'm working on a table runner , making kits and preparing to go to the retreat at Ruby's Inn at Bryce Canyon. I look forward to reconnecting with quilting friends that I sometimes only see one time a year. Plus I'm driving out to Tooele to meet with a group of quilters who are working on Silent Night.
This is a quilt made by Leslie Ison. It is from a design of mine called Center Stage. It looks like an entirely different quilt. The green she has used is so vintage looking, and I love the stripe in the sashing. I have many more quilts from our quilt group to share with you.
I hope you all have a marvelous week.
"I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden." -Martin Luther King
