My trip to Ohio was not near long enough. I am over joyed with the time I spent loving my dear little Wyatt and observing Ben and Erin being such awesome parents.
Sweet Wyatt getting dressed in the gown that has been in Erin's family since the 1800's, It is very fragile, but still in good condition......a special tradition being carried forward.
This is the baptismal font that Ben made for the church along with several other items. What a special occasion for Wyatt to be baptized in the font his daddy made. You can see the lid for it in the background.
The proud parents......
This bookmark was especially made for Wyatt by a member of the congregation. A very special keepsake.
The organ in the church is spectacular.
The church has a long history in the area. Below you can see the original gas lights which burn out in front of the church.
My dear son, posing for his mother. I haven't even been home 24 hours and a bit of me lingers with them in Ohio. I am happy to be back in my own home with my sweet husband who kept the business humming while I was away. I'm not sure what I'd do without him. On this next Tuesday I will be gone again to the yearly retreat I attend in Midway, Utah. I hope to share a few more days from my Oregon trip before I leave.
