....And you all know what that means! We started out our day yesterday at Paradise Bakery. One must have a good start for a day of hard work. We had such a great time helping Dawn set up her booth. Julie and I left mid afternoon because we had pedicures scheduled with my daughter Abbie. We finished in time to meet Dawn at her favorite Mexican Restaurant which she likes to frequent while in S.L.C. After a very full day, we were happy to return home and admire the fabric we got from Dawn's booth......we had the first pick.:-)
This is my stash for the day. These civil war fabrics which Judie Rothermel designed for Marcus fabrics were just irresistible. Julie and I were folding them and were swooning the entire time. And then Dawn dies beautiful wool and I purchased these greens to start kitting the Cottage Garden quilt.
Here is sweet kind Julie folding more of the fabric. We didn't complete our task so we had homework last night!
A close up peak to get a better look.
Today the show starts......I hope I have some pictures to share with you.

Is this the same Dawn who had a booth at Road to CA? LOVED her booth and such a nice and friendly lady! Her booth was amazing...filled with Timeless Tradition goodness, (seeing your quilts in person was out of this world!!), lovely fabrics and the nicest hand dyed wool!
ReplyDeleteYour CW fabrics and that gorgeous green wool looks like quite the treasure. I came away with a large stack of half yard homespuns from Dawn last fall. Yummm!
ReplyDeleteOh yes... looking forward to the coming pictures! Always interesting postings.
