It was like Christmas once again at my house......packages came from Riley Blake.
Civil War fabric in pink shades.
I love the green color way...so nice and soft and muted.....just my style.
I'm also in love with this color palette, especially the one in the front of the stack. Also the 6th and 7th in the stack.
These will work up so perfectly in my new design I'm working on....."So Many Paths, So Many Choices."
At last.....the quilt is finished along with the pattern. The quilt is at Festival with Sew Cherished. It did not stay around long enough for me to have even one little nap under it!
The kits are packaged and for sale on my web site.....the vine has been precut on the bias.
"You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the things you think you cannot do. -Eleanor Roosevelt
Ohhh love the new fabrics!! Your newest quilt is DDG!! (drop dead gorgeous)! I love the vintage feel to it..your choice of fabric is wonderful! I think it's the black check fabric that gives it that special kick... How you keep hitting them out of the baseball park is beyond me! You obviously have the talent not only to design patterns but the flare or vision to team the patterns up with the right fabric! Can't wait to see what you do with the Riley Blake fabric! Thanks for the lovely eye candy...it went well with my morning coffee! :o))
