It was very exciting to see so many of my designs made and entered into the show. Here, Field Of Flowers done in the blue and cheddar is simply stunning!
Susie Robeson was in one of the classes at Grand Country Quilters.....I was pleased that our paths crossed in that way.
.......and another Field Of Flowers done completely scrappy.
This was an incredibly beautiful hand quilted class which a group of quilters out of Old Town in San Diego had hanging in the show. They work historical pieces.
A double Irish Chain.
.....and another Irish Chain.
However, this quilt stole the show for me. The nine patches are 1/2 inch!
Made by Ada Romaine and started when she was 9 years old.
What a splendid quilt this one is.....
The applique was pristinely done.
This has always been one of my favorites......thrilled to see it once again.
I found this quilt to be extremely fun. It would be a good project to collect for and make every circle out of different fabric.
This quilt is so fresh and clean looking, and beautifully done.
These beautiful quilts certainly get my creative juices flowing......So many quilts to make and so little time!
Hope you all find time to create over the week end.

ReplyDeleteOh man these are beautiful! I get to visit your friend, Dawn at Sew Cherished this week at PIQF. I always make a bee line to her booth :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Norma for the beautiful quilt show, there were some exceptional quilts there. I love the Field of Flowers done in different colours.
