Last evening at our quilt group Christmas pot luck, This is what Debra brought in her berry basket......so cute. A little strawberry pincushion to tuck away in my sewing basket.
Valerie shared a Jan Patek design which was a block of the month a couple of years ago. It is a large quilt and I was unable to get a complete picture of the quilt, because of our small space, so I took pictures of sections of it. We all remarked at the cuteness of the bunny and his carrot.
The quilt covers the four seasons, starting with spring. We all fell in love with it. We especially liked the way some of the blocks have the green scallop trim with the red circles.
We all loved the witch. some of these designs are taken from some of her other patterns.
I specifically loved the block with the whales.
The turkey was also a hit!
This beautiful verse was stenciled on a wall at a shop I visited. I thought I would share it for my thought for the day.
It is Friday once again....it makes my head spin as to how fast the weeks fly by. I hope you are all finding joy in the season.
Hmmm ... tried searching for group on Facebook, but nothing came up???
