Lil, who is a part of our quilt group is working on the Lucy Boston quilt. Every month I wait with great anticipation to see the progress she's made.
This is a hand piecing project.....slow stitching.
By fussy cutting and the different arrangement of fabrics, each block look entirely different.

Lil tried machine applique......and decided this one block was all she wanted to do......she is a hand stitching gal. She is making this one block into a small quilt to donate for the state guild annual meeting.
Bruce and I spent a big full day cutting kits and catching up on all kinds of stuff.

ReplyDeleteThat Lucy Boston quilt is very intriguing. I've seen a couple of people making them, and all their blocks turn out fabulous.
