Lucy Boston...

I often write my blog the night before and schedule it to post the following morning.  I forgot to schedule the correct time for it, so that is why it was late in posting.  Today Julie and her hubby arrived at our house.  They chose to take the long way home so that they could visit.  Today is their anniversary so we went out to dinner tonight to celebrate!

We have been watching Lil's progress on her Lucy Boston quilt.  It has been thrilling watching it grow.  This quilt is entirely hand pieced.

The detail she has used in the fussing cutting of the pieces is really amazing.

I wanted you to see the incredible placement of fabrics.

The variety of color placement makes each block nearly look like a different pattern.  The quilt is made out of 2 different pieces.

A heirloom in the making!
