More inspiration from our friends from France. This border really softens the quilt and gives it quite a different look. I see that Andree has the same little yellow flowers blooming in her grass as I do! :-)
Sophie has chosen these restful blues and grays with just a touch of black.
The cream colored background gives this quilt and entirely different feel. I love the use of the stripe fabric in this one also. Absolutely charming!
The stitching around the edges of the circles is a nice touch. Perhaps it is raw edge applique....I can't see for sure.
A lovely piece of art. I love that Cocette added the one pieced circle....a lovely touch.
We can just see a section of this quilt which looks Asian inspired.
There will be a few more quilts tomorrow. I've enjoyed seeing everyone's interpretation of the original. Everyone is showing us a peek into their individual personalities.
