An Amazing Day!

We celebrated Bruce's birthday yesterday at Jess and Katrina's home.  It was a marvelous day!

This was the man of the hour enjoying chips and guacamole.

Dear Grandpa was there to celebrate with his eldest son.  We love his ready smile.  He shared stories about the day Bruce was born with prompting from his grand daughters.  It was lovely to have this time of sharing.

And, here is the Hostess, sweet Katrina......wearing an Apron which I made for her many moons ago.

And, here is the hostess with her main man, Jess.  He was the griller and attentive Host!

Delightful Abbie with her husband Chad.  He is starting to relax a bit now that he only has one final left and then graduation!!!  Then he will start his study for the Bar Examination.

And Bruce and I still in love after many years! :-)  Such a perfectly happy day, except that we missed not having our Ohio family with us.

Mr. Oliver was present......enjoying a snooze on the deck.

And sweet Miss Annie was seeking the comfort of the shade.  They are both great dogs who Jess and Katrina have rescued.  Bruce and I have accepted them as our Grand Dogs.  We are happy to be on the receiving end of their love and tail wags!

Tomorrow, I will share about the food!  It was a marvelous feast!
