......it's Friday once again! "Slow down you're movin' too fast, got to make the moment last!"
There is a delightful group of women who meet every Monday at Julie's home. I enjoyed stitching with them on a Monday that I was there visiting. What a great way to start out a new work week. Joan Torbett is one of the ladies who meets in the group. She shared these gorgeous blocks she had just completed. They are wool applique on cotton.
These blocks show off some very skillful stitching, as well as an investment of time.
Joan has used a variety of shirting fabrics for the backgrounds.
The design elements are by Primitive Gatherings.
These will be the sashing strips between the blocks. I hope you've been inspired by Joan's skillful stitching.
Exceptional advice to live by. I hope your week end is just as you'd like it to be. :-)
So many gorgeous blocks! The stitching on it is marvelous and adds so much to the applique.
