......our adventures were many and of quite a variety. We covered many miles, and before long we could no longer see out the windows. Our car was quite full to begin with and we kept tucking fabric in between the cracks. It made life quite interesting. Sometimes we had to slam the door shut quickly to keep stuff from falling out. :-(
Along I-80 going west from Salt Lake City, Fort Bridger is located after crossing the Utah line into Wyoming. Out in the middle of a field of sage brush is a large sign advertising The Valley Fabric Shop. It is an attention getter because it is literally out in the middle of no where. The little 4 way stop you come to is Urie, and this is where the quilt store is located. What a delightful stop.
The shop was in the Halloween mood with some cute panels to be made into quick quilts.
The shop had several old sewing machines. This machine has to be quite rare......the name indicated it is probably made some place in Asia.
I did not recognize this brand of sewing machine either.
I found this quilt to be so soft and sweet......very feminine.
Ditto to the above comment.
Sure to please any child.
The store was large and had a gift area attached.
One small positive thought in the morning will change your day.
So very true.
A charming autumn wreath.
