...to have our little nest over flowing with family and friends. It just doesn't get much better than this! :-)
I will be making this my last post until after Thanksgiving. I'm finding that there is not time enough presently.
Isn't this just such a pretty and cozy looking tree? I loved the addition of the gingerbread men and the dried orange slices. The store was just in the transition from turning fall into Christmas. Every time this time of the season rolls around, I am sorry that my Woodland Tree Skirt is traveling about the country.
This little wool design is sweet. but the quilt on the table underneath the tree was fabulous. The photo here is just a teaser.
A little quilt block framed, makes for a nice little bit of artwork.
The Liberty table runner is on the table, and a cute little patriotic angel.
The best cactus design I have ever seen......perfect for the location of the shop.
This is one of the new ladies from my classes taught at the store, who I'm pleased to refer to as my friend! This is Karalee Morris, showing the Silent Night quilt which she just completed. Every time I see one on my designs completed I kind of feel like a very proud mother! :-)
I want to close this post with one of my most favorite quotes. "Thou who hast given so much to me, give me one thing more, a grateful heart." I am thankful for each of you who appreciate my blog posts and by your comments inspire me to keep posting and sharing with you. I am wishing you a very special holiday with family and to those you love and share it with. I'll be back shortly.
P.S. For those interested I'm making The Silent Night quilt, give The Old World Quilt Shoppe a call because they are in the process of making quilts from beautiful wool.
