I hope you all had a marvelous Memorial Day Weekend. We certainly enjoyed ours. My brother came for a visit and that was a nice treat. Bruce and I were able to celebrate our anniversary in style, and most of all I had time for reflection......and while doing so I numbered all my blessings and was unable to finish my list, as I continue to think of more things to add to it. Most of all, I am happy for the sense of contentment I have.
Yes, We Can....will be given to the 8th person to email me with their address. norma@timelesstraditionsquilts.com
The amazing women which were in my class. Lovely, and sweet.....just like quilters everywhere. The people I met were absolutely the highlight of my trip. The class sizes were not large, because most of the women traveled from quite a distance throughout Europe......and they wanted all their extra room in their luggage for their purchases. In fact the lady in the front row, on the left had no sewing supplies. I was happy to share my sewing kit with her.
This is a version of my quilt, Home Is Best, which is seen hanging below. It is so thrilling to see this design done in this color way.
This is my Sherpa......he carried my bags! :-)
I had the best visit with this young mother and quilter. I am sorry I do not remember all the names. She shared her concerns for her children. Many people spoke of their concern for the world in general.
Our favorite thing about France, were her people!
She is the student in my class without supplies. She was absolutely a joy to meet, and so interesting. She is living in Germany, but is from the States. She has been with the military and is a linguistics specialist.
How about this adorable apron.
Life is short, enjoy it.
Bruce and I enjoyed so much meeting this couple......so fun and welcoming. You can see how amazing all of her designs are.
I had to get a picture of this cute eye glass case......
....And this sweet purse.
