Wake, with EYES WIDE OPEN. I have something to share with you this morning taken from a book I am reading called, Joy in every moment. It is written by Tzivia Gover. "Waking up to the present moment inspires and energizes us. Waking up in this was ensures that we won't sleepwalk through life or fall into habitual ways of seeing the world around us. Truly awakening requires a shift in attitude and perspective. It entails empowering ourselves to experience gifts and treasures in the life we are already living. Waking up means opening your eyes to the present moment and greeting it with a joyful heart." No more sleep walking for me!:-)
I want to be fully awake to all of life's many blessings.
A continuation of the quilts from yesterday.
The original was made in 1856.
Shame on me, but I guess I was so swept away by the quilts, that I forgot to get the information on this quilt.
I love the randomness of this quilt, but the pink block ties it all together.
What an extraordinary quilt this is. The hand quilting plus the intricate applique was simply stunning!
Oh yes, a perfect joy!
I hope you have enjoyed these quilts as much as I did.
Prompted by todays introduction, "The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up." - Zen Saying
