These are twelve layer cake size pieces......be the early bird, and don't forget to include your address.
Every two years there is a quilt show and auction to raise money for healthcare. I attended this past Friday evening, and $143,000 was raised toward this goal. Included in the event was a scrumptious dinner. The quilts I am showing were in the silent auction. There were 82 hand quilted quilts, and most of these were in the live auction. The table where I was seated was so far away from the auctioneer and the quilts, that I was unable to get photos.
I was definitely charmed by this quilt, and it has given me an idea of how to use my box of neck ties.
Part of the border included these labels.
A second picture to show the corner detail.
Keep in mind that all of the quilts in this show are hand quilted. One spectacular quilt which I did not get a picture of went for over
$20.000.
I will have more to share tomorrow. On Wednesday I will have the monthly drawing.
