The Blackberry Primitives Retreat....

A few more photos from the absolutely enjoyable retreat in Lincoln, Nebraska.

This is the house where many of us stayed.  This house was moved from Lincoln to the country 14 years ago.  Quite an accomplishment.  By doing this the house was preserved.  There was also an old farm house where other ladies stayed, and several chose to stay in Lincoln.  This house was just a few steps to the barn where the retreat was held.

We all gathered here for breakfast in the morning......the breakfast was always very tasty.....and started us off with a little pep to forge ahead for our creating, visiting and shopping!!

The stairway just inside the front door, was really lovely.  The photo you see are the owners of the farm, which is called Prairie Creek Inn.

This was a typical bedroom.

The bedroom I stayed in was on the third floor, and this was the little sitting area outside the bedroom.

This bed was exceptionally unique.

This quilt was hanging in the room where I slept.

We finished off one of our delicious lunches with a piece of this cake, which was made to celebrate this event.

I have spent the day catching up and taking a deep breath!  There is much to unpack and put away, and we are expecting our son from Ohio to join us for a visit on Thursday.  Life is good and I returned with renewed purpose and energy.

There is a new Face Book group which started on Monday.  It is called Garden Whimsy by Norma Whaley. Check it out, maybe you will decide you have one more quilt that you just need to make.  The block of the month will be kitted by Olde World Quilt Shoppe in Cave Creek, Arizona.
