I was told this morning that a very dear friend of our family was found deceased at the cabin in the mountain, that he found to be a haven, a place where his spirit felt at home. When Abbie asked me what was the first thought of our friend Harvey, my answer was, a very spiritual man without malice and very loving. An amazing remembrance. I am having a difficult time focusing, so I will keep this short. Just remember my friends, make every day count, and find joy in the journey.

Sounds like a wonderful man. Peace be with you.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss...life is so fleeting and I am glad you recognized his lovely spirit.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear about your friend. I have learned that lesson the hard way and I try to find joy in each day and treasure the moments with family and friends. May your heart be lifted with wonderful memories of your friend.

He must have loved that place dearly. Thank you for sharing your sadness. He must have been a beautiful man.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to read about your loss. Your friend sounds like a very wonderful, kind man.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that. I hope it's where he wanted to be at that time in his life. My Dad passed away in 1995 and the one wish he had was to die at home where his greatest memories and loved ones were. I miss him to this day...all kinds of things bring him to mind. Bitter memories at first but Bittersweet now. My Mom recently had a mini stroke and I was scared that would be our last moment together. I'm so thankful she has almost fully recovered. Sometimes we get forewarned that we will be losing our loved one like my Dad's case but so many times it comes suddenly and we don't have time to say I love you or I'm sorry for whatever....so yes, make every moment count. May God comfort you.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your loss. I lost my dear sister suddenly in February. She was only 58. I miss her so much and wish we had more time together. Enjoy each day, Janie
