Blue skies and sunshine.....

....and my first tulips are beginning to bloom.  All is well on the home front. :-)  I've had a great day, starting a new quilt which I've had in mind, and will round off the day by going to teach tonight.  Blessings abound!

I have a few more quilts from the museum in Brigham City to share with you.  Isn't this an interesting as well as unusual quilt.

I don't believe I've ever seen this pattern before.  Does anyone know the name?

I've heard different names for this pattern.  Heart's and Gizzards is one, and Robbing Peter to Pay Paul was another.

The date on this strikingly beautiful quilt is 1876.

This too is a quilt top which Megan rescued.

Just look at this dear sweet little face!  He's hanging out in front of the magic heat box!  I'm pleased to claim him as my darling grand dog.
