Working with burlap

I've been wanting to make a burlap sack like this to hang on my porch....it would be good for every season....and would be a quick make.  If I get it done, I'll be certain to post it.  The summer is flying by, probably because it is such a busy one for me.  I'm trying to find time to spend sewing and creating  because that rounds off every day and makes it a special one for me.
I have to confess, I've discovered Pintrest....and my oh! my......that can consume your time in a hurry.  I should say, I knew about pinterest, but wouldn't let myself get started because I new I'd get sucked in....and I have.  I'm tring to moderate the time I spend.

Today's quote is about time!  I found it last night on 'myyellowfarmhouse' link to pinterest. "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone eles's life.  Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking.  Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice,  And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.  They somehow already know what you truly want to become.  Everything else is secondary. - Steve Jobs And..."The bad news is time flies.  The good news is you're the pilot!"

  1. I'm lovin' your blog! I especially appreciate the clean look and your nice photos, great decorating ideas, and quotes . . . stitching, wool, quilts, words . . . who could ask for more! Thanks for giving the source for your Pinterest find (Pinterest is a time sponge!!!), and for sharing your talents with those of us in blogland. Oh, also . . . Among a few other items at the top of my to-do list is Time in the Garden. Thanks!.
