This a new quilt that has been placed on my web site. The inspiration for it came from a Navajo rug. The Navajos are the largest Native American tribe in the U.S. They are found in the 4 corners part of the western United States. For those not familiar with that term, that is the area where New Mexico, Colorado. Arizona and Utah join. There is a place there if you were to bend over you could be in 4 states at the same time., by placing a hand in 2 states and your feet in the other 2 states.
During the Second World War, the Navajos were called upon to be code talkers; "The language they were forbidden to speak is the same language that saved this nation." This is why I have named this quilt the Navajo Code Talkers.
"Thoughts are like arrows; once released they strike their mark. Guard them well or one day you may be your own victim". - Navajo Proverb
