This quilt is finished and at the quilters and now has a name. I have combined 2 suggestions and it will be called Stars in the Village Green. Kathleen I do not have your full name, and I will be needing your address.....but you suggested Stars in the Meadow. Claire Birch wrote that it reminded her of the village green when she lived in a little village in Maine. So thus the name. Thank-you to everyone who helped in the naming. I wish I could give every one of you a pattern when they are ready, but I guess that is not the nature of being a successful business person........but I certainly would experience a lot of happiness doing so.
Now for the winner of the Autumn pillow, that will be sent to Randi Deem, once I receive your address. Teri the reader who sent me the almond recipe......please e-mail me.
For the second Wed drawing that I'm doing on Tuesday, because I believe I will be able to post a few more wedding pictures tomorrow.......I had so many enter the drawing that I've selected 3 names this time. I wish you all could be winners, but then you actually all are in a way that really counts. I appreciate all of your comments and words of encouragement......carry on ladies! Winners please let me know which pattern you'd like and then I will need an address...Judy Robertson - Barbara(the only Barbara that entered) and Paulette.
I'm considering what the drawing will be for next month...I'll let you know so start entering for Oct.
I'll sign off with this quote - "Be helpful when you see a person without a smile, give him yours". -Zig Zigler
Stars in the Village Green is just the perfect name for your beautiful quilt! Someday I hope to have enough courage (and ambition!) to tackle a quilt with so many small pieces...lol.
ReplyDeleteBarbara....is their something else you would like to tackle off my web site? Let me know with your address.
