The proof is in the pictures

Yes, it snowed!  It was so beautiful to look out at, while we were all cozy inside.  Cozy inside the mountain cabin as well as cozy in our spirits.

Just another view....just beyond the background of this photo is a mountain,  it is just obscured by the weather.

Here is the beautiful table runner Gaylyn finished.  She believes that the pattern is in an older Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine.  The runner is ready for her holiday table.  She also worked on Christmas stockings among other things.  We all came with many projects to complete.  Somehow I did not get a picture of many of them......too busy stitching, I guess.

The fire in the background and a table full of stitching, reading material and yes remotes.  However, we did not turn the T.V. on until the last night when we watched a football game.  Imagine that, 4 women watching football.  Wouldn't our husbands be proud.  We did finish off the eve. with Blue Blood's because of our love affair with Tom Selleck......:-)

"We do not need magic to transform our world.  We carry all the power we need inside ourselves already.  We have the power to imagine better".   - J.K. Rowling

I've been having an issue with the spell check today.....it will not believe me that the spelling is correct......oh well, can't sweat the small stuff.

  3. WOW Snow on October 1st. Once in a blue moon it might snow on Mt LeConte in October--but it is rare.

  4. The mountains here in Utah make their own weather......I still have green grass and flowers blooming here in the valley of S.L.C. However, snow can come very early to the higher elevations and the skiers love it.
