This quilt is being held by my husband, standing on our fireplace hearth....He's tall and has long arms! I made this quilt in 2003, (I know because of the label:-)).....I believe it is a design by Pat Sloan and I saw the quilt in a quilting magazine. I wish I remembered which magazine but I'm not certain on that point. It was an easy pattern to follow and I remember enjoying the process of making it. The baskets are pieced and then appliqued in place. I like the reminder of being Thankful.
The Silent Night kits are flying out the door, so we are now making another dozen of them. I received an email last night from a gal who bought one, saying what beautiful wool it had in it. I am excited about the wool sources I have to draw from.
