12 days of Christmas begins

Today's gift will be the Simply Vintage Magazine put out by Quilt Mania.  It formerly has just been published in French only, but now it is also in English.  It has 19 fantastic projects, plus some great shops and other places they have visited while in Texas for the Fall Quilt Market.

This pattern featured in the magazine is Lisa Bongean's Favorite things, from Primitive Gathering's. This is a real winner.....just like Lisa always does.

Here is an awesome wool back pack purse, with the hooked details by Blandine Dele'pino.  I absolutely love this.

Next we have a needle punch cat pincushion, plus a punch needle Scarecrow On Duty picture....not shown but very cute.  The designers of these 2 projects are Connie and Mary from Country Threads.

Wow, isn't this stunning?  It is called Blackbird Pie and is a designed by Martha A. Walker of Wagon West Designs.

Antique Urn of Flowers, a marvelous hooked rug by Polly Minick.  Love the colors in this.  I loved hooked rugs and such, but there is just not enough hours in the day to add one more thing to my passion list!

Next on the list is a quilt by Me, and it is called Mattie's quilt..  The size of the photo is deceiving.....it is 68" x 80". On the page by my quilt is written, "Happiness is not a destination.  It is a way of life."  Love that.

And.....here is Summer Gathering, made by Kathy Cardiff for the Cottage at Cardiff Farms.  Baskets are always a favorite....this is very sweet.

This beautiful Table runner is called Fall's Bounty and has been designed by Lisa DeBee Schiller.  I find this absolutely stunning......the white pumpkins with just the one little orange one looks so spectacular on the tweed back ground.

Rhonda Mc Cray of Farmhouse Threads designed this charming little pumpkin candle mat.  This would be a quick little project that would be fun to do.

Absolutely love this Pear make-do primitive pincushion by Debbie Lofgren for Little Stitches.  The little bird with the berry is just the finishing touch.

And.......the first winner is Linda Frihart Linda please contact me with your address so that this amazing magazine will be in the mail and on it's way to you.

    1. The least expensive way to have the magazine is to order it to come to your door.

    1. Barnes and Nobles carry the regular Quilt Mania, but I haven't checked to see if they have this one.
