A work in progress...

This is what I've been working on for the past while.  As you can see, there are still some blank spots, however the designs are all drawn, and the appliqued border is floating around in my head.  It already even has a name......."How Does Your Garden Grow".  I have been quite excited working on this.  I haven't even started on the applique yet......everything is just pinned onto the backgrounds.  I will keep you updated as it evolves.  It will be a great project to take on my trip to Ohio.

Bruce's dad who is 85 and living alone is having guests today for lunch.  He has invited Bruce and I to attend......and I'm bringing desert.  He has requested an Apricot pie using the apricots from his tree and a pecan pie.  He is really self sufficient and quite a good cook.  He has made many a delicious pie himself......I'm just helping out a bit, because he is making a beef roast with all the fixins for lunch.

    1. Linda, we did have a nice lunch time with grandpa. He will be going to Ohio with us for Christmas. He is anxious to see where two of his grand children have landed, and we are happy that he can accompany us.
