Love one another

This is the new pillow I am going to stitch on today.  I hope to have it available soon, so that it can be displayed in your home for Valentine's Day.  I actually think it would be great to have out all year long.  This pillow front is made entirely of wool, however I'm considering a plaid homespun back and perhaps binding it in the same plaid fabric, which is a rich looking brown and black.  Enough about the pillow.  The time for just hanging out is over...it was delightful while it lasted, but now I'm
back with a purpose and feel all energized. I still take time every morning which is my own, and that is my time for quiet contemplation and reading.

I must report that the apricot pie made from the fresh apricots which grandpa put in his freezer was scrumptious.  I believe I will heat up a piece and have it with a cup of coffee for my breakfast.  Fruit and a flaky crust, I do believe that sounds like breakfast fare.

"I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.  I will live in the past, the present, and the future.  The spirits of all three shall strive within me.  I will not shut out the lessons that they teach".       -Charles Dickens

  1. I really love the pillow; everything about it. I am reflecting on the quote. So many things tell us to stay in the present moment, but I like that this asks us to keep in mind all lessons. Thank you

  3. Norma, I love this pillow! Can't wait for the pattern! I so enjoyed your trunk show at American Quilting. Bought a few patterns and now I need to work to get them made. No time before Christmas, but maybe I will have something to show for next year! Love your BlogSpot also! Want to come to Girl Gang
