Still counting.....day 10

I hope you all have had a cozy week end, and are able to settle down in your homes and enjoy time with family and friends.  We had our daughter Katrina and her best friend and husband over for dinner last eve.  We feel so fortunate to have them near by.  Their dogs Oliver and Annie came with them.  They are such darlings.  I meant to take their picture to show you, but the evening slipped a way with out it getting accomplished.  You see, I have no grandchildren yet, so the dogs it seems are the second best thing for now.
Today's gift is a small bundle of wool which was gifted to me to gift to you....how about that!  Kristine Wilkinson the proprietor of "Woolsocks and Hollyhocks" has beautiful wool for sale.  Her web site is - www.woolsocksandhollyhocks.com.   Love the name she has chosen as well as her wool.
I'm counting down as well for our trip to Ohio......our kids are excited about our coming.  Abbie tells me that she has been reminding her little dogs that Grandma is coming to visit.  She says that their little ears perk up, their tails start wagging and they look excited.  I do love those little fellows, so I hope they do remember me and still love me like they did when they lived here.  I sound sort of looney I realize, but so it is!

"There's more to Christmas than candle light and cheer,
Its the spirit of friendship that brightens the year.
It's thoughtfulness and kindness, its hope reborn again,
for peace for understanding and for good will to all men".

Today's winner is Sheryn Lewis.  I hope to hear from you soon with your address so that I might tuck your wool in an envelope and send it on it's way.

  5. You don't sound looney to me at all! LOL. I totally understand, as I also have no grandchildren...just grand-dogs. Those little furbabies will be spoiled this Christmas for sure, along with my own two.
