The rain has turned to snow......

And Abbie has Christmas Carols playing and the waffle iron is putting out golden , crisp, hot waffles.  Ben has joined us from his house and its all wonderfully cozy.......absolutely the best kind of way to start out our day.  We have a tour scheduled of Ben's shop and of Abbie's favorite grocery stores, because her Dad has not yet seen them.  Then this eve. before the candle light service at the church we will go to Erin's parents house for wassail.  Then back to Chad and Abbie's for dinner and the eve.

The gift for today is a kit for the Pine and Holly table runner, and of course the pattern is included.  Since I've made this. I've also thought that it would make a great bolster pillow to sit along the back of a couch.  The first to respond today will receive this kit as soon as I return home.

"May you have the gladness of Christmas which is hope;
The spirit of Christmas which is peace;
The heart of Christmas which is love".

  1. We woke up to a dusting of snow in Columbus, Ohio. Nothing special for them but it was a nice treat for a girl from Georgia. Hope you are having a wonderful Christmas too!

  6. I know I'm not the first to respond (my plan was to get up early but here it is already past 7:30 - must have been those visions of sugar plums dancing in my head! ;o))
    But I did want to ask if you plan to offer some of your designs for sale as a kit down the road? I love your fabric choices and our quilt stores tend to carry more bright/modern fabrics and not many homespuns at all.

    Hope you're enjoying your trip! Merry Christmas!!
