Nearing Completion.....

Good Morning!  :-)  It's Friday once again......hoping you have something wonderful planned, or maybe just a few ordinary moments to cherish and enjoy.  As for me I will be busily getting ready to travel to Bryce Canyon for a quilting retreat at Ruby's Inn.  For many of us it is the highlight of the winter.  It is beautiful there with the snow on the red rock.  For any of you who are not familiar with Bryce Canyon National Park....you should discover it.......as it is truly an amazing place.  A few years ago my husband and I hiked down to the bottom of one of the canyons, and what a sensational experience it was......On the hike there were many speaking something other than English, and back at the lodge the exchange rate of the dollar is on a board to accommodate different countries........However, at this time of year the lodge is taken over by a bunch of happy, enthusiastic quilters.

I Absolutely need an apple tree in my garden......because there is nothing like biting into a crisp apple right off the tree in the Fall.  And then I can enjoy it's shade on a hot summer's day.  The birds will be delighted with such a lovely place to build their nests and raise their little bird families.

Just a few more flowers.........

And one more bird....living in the sunlight!  It was Benjamin Franklin that wrote about living in the sunlight......the point he made, was that our lives should be lived as to be open for scrutiny.......living in the light.  At the time I read that I made a pillow that said..."Live in the Sunlight".

On Monday, I will have the border ready to share with you.
