The boxes are being packed.....

Spring quilt market in Pittsburgh is just around the corner.....in fact we will be leaving in less than 3 weeks.  My friend Dawn from Sew Cherished will be arriving soon for the long arm quilting show held in Salt Lake.  She will have a vendors booth at the market and will be staying with me.  Then she will be driving to Pittsburgh.....she has offered to stow a way some of my boxes which will be a great help to me......less to ship. :-))

The kits for the Liberty Table runner have been completed.  I could only make 10 of them, because then the red fabric behind the flowers was gone.  The kit includes everything for the top, and will sell for 58.00.  It will be on my web site later today.

Thank goodness, my quilt holder has long arms!  I love this quilt and decided it was time for it to come out of the quilt cupboard and hang out on the back of my couch ready for napping......everyone agrees I'm sure, that naps are always better under a quilt.  Jan Patek designed this little circle of friends a few years back, however it was just one square block, and they were angels.  I removed the wings and made them of different skin colors, and had them all holding hands.  Then I separated them with log cabin blocks.

That's kind of a tongue twister, but is something to consider....enjoy the day.

  2. Can you tell who makes the red fabric? I really want to use from my stash but the red fabric is what makes it so beautiful and striking. Hope you have a blast at Spring Market. I can only imagine how much fun it must be. Finally starting to warm up a little here in Central Minnesota but still below average.
