Finishing the Quilt Show....

Wow!  I looked back at yesterdays blog entry, and something happened......the geek squad came and they went, and I thought all was well and.....?  When I posted it yesterday morning, all was well and I said, something happened! :-(  I never have been able to wrap my mind around this cloud thing....perhaps I was born in the wrong time frame????  Not sure about that though, because I'm enjoying life now.  I guess I had better not over think this.
Scrappy Show Fly....Kimberly Naylor

This quilt was entered by Elaine Michael.  It was her dads baby quilt and was made in 1911.

Daphne's Star.....Julie Kursave.

Close up...a wool penny in the middle of each star.

Granny Squares....Isabel Prado
Joseph's Coat....Leslie Horben.  This quilt was awarded 2nd place in traditional applique.

Courthouse lawn, by Catherine Hughes.

Stars Through the Mountains.....Pam Kay.

Promised Land....Kerry Marksbury.

Windy Sister.....Janet Harris.

New Mexico Sunset.......Sharon Talmich.

South West Round Robin....Wendy Held.

Flowers and Stars.....Kim Naylor.

Magnolia....Ana Allender.

Sixteen Years in the Making.......Marilyn Kirschen.  She was happy to complete this unfinished UFO.

Waste Not....Pam Kay.

Cherie Payne and I...Don't I look just smug and important having my picture taken with such a well accomplished quilt designer?......Plus, Cherie is a sweet and kind person.

Two friends who I was pleased to have my picture taken with.....Beth Boteler and Shareese Harris.  If I had my picture taken with all of the warm and lovely people that I was privileged to meet, this could go on for a long time.  Last evening a small group of quilters met at my house, and after hearing about my great time in San Diego, they commented that they needed to attend next year too.  We already were making plans for where we would be eating.
