The Journey through......

......Ohio continues.  What a beautiful journey it was.  Bruce and I had much needed time together without any demands, and beautiful country side to enjoy and a warm and inviting home to come back to each evening......with a smiling adorable baby with open arms to greet us.  Life is good.

....An abundance of goodness to behold!  If my memory serves me this was the Amish Country Peddler in Walnut Creek, Ohio.

The front porch.

Welcoming Autumn.

I never wish to forget about making a life.

Absolutely wonderful lighting available.

Isn't she a charmer?

And I loved this cat in all of her primitive beauty.

Available to add warmth and coziness for your home.

It not having what you want, It's wanting what you have........well said Elizabeth!

Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control.....These are the attributes that make life work and bring joy!

I love the American Flag.

A true saying.  Thanking all of you for the friendship you extend to me.

A marvelous old cupboard.......

.....and a stunning log cabin quilt.

This shelf is what I purchased and I love what it adds to our home.  The pottery hand painted plate and the birds are purchases made at the Country Living Fair in Columbus, Ohio a few years back.

This quilt is a group effort.  Friends of a designer friend of ours who was seriously injured in a car accident put our efforts together to make stars for this quilt.  Julie Letvin another friend and generous quilter put them together and will be quilting the top.  I'm happy to be a part of the quilting community.

I received this picture from someone who stitched together my Patriotic Stars pattern and now has them arranged in a bowl with sew shells......Lovely.  I regret admitting that I meant to remember her name but have failed to do so....too much whirling around in my mind.  However, thank you for sharing your talents with us.

Over the week end I finished an amazing novel.....it has affected me like not many books ever have.  It is entitles....Sing For Us, by Steven Wise.

"Peace.  It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work.  It means to be in the midst of these things and still be calm in your heart."  -unknown
