In Northern Indiana, not far off I-80 is a fabulous shopping area with the familiar Amish name of Yoder"s. I could have spent quite a long time in the shoe department alone, saying nothing about the quilting area.
Horses and buggies parked at the hitching rail.
There was a quilt show hung which I will share with you.
Thank goodness for the rescue!
Vintage and oh so charming!
Lots of wonderful toweling.
Cute aprons made from the towels.
Fabric and more fabric......for every taste. We just didn't have enough time to do it all justice.
Many samples.
I love this delectable Mountain quilt.
A large selection of Barn signs.
My sweet hubby doing some front porch sittin'.
There was great sale fabric. I've been wanting to make a pink and brown log cabin, so I was excited about this brown and pink plaid.
And a few other treasures.
If you're ever this way.....this is a must!
Have a great week end!

Thanks for sharing those lovely quilts and shop. I've heard about the area but not seen pictures, amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great store! Not too far from me..did you get to Lolly's? Also a must-stop shop in Shipshewana!
ReplyDeleteThere is, though its closer to the other side of the state in Illinois near Logansport, a place called Roberts Sewing Center. It is so much bigger and I was stunned I never heard of it before. Was there two hours and still didnt see everything. We plan to go back again.
ReplyDeleteWe're not all that far from Shipshewana, and I dream of a road trip up there one of these days. Thanks for sharing those fabulous quilts. Wow!
