Fall is in the air......

....and my sweet friends at Grand Country Quilters are definitely feeling it too.  The sent me a photo today of their finished Autumn Time Pillow's from the class I taught there in September.  One would be hard pressed to find a nicer group of ladies.

From the left...DeeDee, Patti, and Karen.  If I lived closer, I know I'd want to drop by and stitch with them.  The shop has a very cozy and welcoming feel.

Now more from the San Diego Quilt show.

"Crab Apple Tree by Kerry Marksbury....this pattern would make use of those scraps we all keep for just this reason.

I found this quilt to be very charming.....baskets are among my favorite quilt designs.

What a beautiful sampler.

For some reason I neglected to get any information on this fabulous quilt.

A Neck Tie Quilt.

Loved this quilt with the spectacular border which frames the quilt so beautifully.

Just so sweet!  Another by Wendy Held.

This is the first of several Field Of Flowers which was entered into the show.  It was most rewarding to see so many versions of my design.  This is also the class I taught at the convention center for the show.

Sorry....these down loaded out of order.  This goes with the sweet quilt above the Field Of Flowers.

And it was Diane Griffith from the Sew Crazy Quilt Group who created this scrappy version of my design.

I apologize for jumping the gun for the drawing which is to be held on the second Wed. of the month.  Oh, Well!  It is time to start entering the drawing for November.

  1. The quilts are all beautiful but i really do wish the organizers of the show( and really they should have) put the pattern names and designers on the labels to give credit to all the hard working people that created the beautiful patterns. Even that last one that you designed and taught...the quilt maker said it wasnt her pattern but didnt give you the credit and then she said "even though its a pattern i like to change it in a slight way" but she didnt mention the pattern designer or what it was she changed! For all i know...it could have been one leaf and now she is taking credit for the "new" pattern.
