.....my days have been more leisurely than normal. I have done some creating, but I don't seem to be in any hurry. Thoughts are swirling around about creative possibilities, but more often than not I find myself lost in a book......and what an absolute joy that is for me. Perhaps, I need this hiatus from quilting. However, rarely does a day go by that needle and thread doesn't meet!
I received an email from someone asking if this design could be done in wool. That would open a whole new world of creative possibilities. Presently the embellishing ideas are wildly flying around in my mind.

Tea towels for every month......these would add charm and sophistication to every kitchen! :-)
And there was Mattie's quilt hanging on the wall. I love the way it is quilted.

"Each of us can look back upon someone who made a difference in our lives, someone whose wisdom or simple acts of caring made an impression on us. In all likelihood it was someone who sought no recognition for their deeds other than the joy of knowing that, by their hand another's life has been made better." -Stephen M. Wolf
