Will work for food.....

...and lucky for us. We have dinner guests.  We received a sizeable Checker order, so our main man (grandpa) arrived on the scene and we put him to work stuffing patterns.  We appreciate his help, but  most of all his company.  Hard workers need to be fed......so the promise of the meal to come are the savory smells in the background.  Also, the counselor of law, Chad is dropping by to join us as his other half is teaching tonight.  He assists me with my deficiencies on the computer, which unfortunately are many. So the helpful troops are going to be fed!

Isn't he adorable? He will be 89 in July.  I hope to be alert and helpful just like him when I grow up.

Country Roads.  Being a country girl this quilt really appealed to me.

Dancing at the Pow - Wow.

Fabulous art quilts.

The French Bakery.

The American Dream......I worry that this will not be the case for many seeking a better life.

Isn't this clever?

Those darn hats!  I've never been at the Kentucky Derby, but enjoy watching it with my husband each year.  I love the beautiful horses, but I have fun admiring the hats though too.

Monterey Wharf....this was a group project.

Fiesta De Flores.....so very vibrant!

Abandoned Schoolhouse.

I've enjoyed looking at these again while I share them with you.  there are amazing artists in the quilt world.

On a side note, is Grandpa "available"? I have a very vibrant 83 1/2-years-young mother! LOL!!!!
