A New Year.....

.....lies before us!  It is fresh, clean and untouched.

"May the coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good stuff.  I hope you read some of the books and kiss someone who thinks you're wonderful, and don't forget to make some art (mainly quilts) write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can.  And I hope somewhere in the next year you surprise yourself."
-Neil Gaiman

While searching through my downloaded pictures I came across this sweet little verse.  I thought it would be a good focus for the New Year.

And then I found a few random pictures......This seemed like a sweet and simple little welcome sign.

These were two quilts hanging in Prairie Point Junction in Cozad, Nebraska.  Remember in the new year if you are traveling down I 80, remember to check out this lovely store.....especially if you are in the hunt for wool.  Also check out their web site as they do a large mail order business.

And I have a few quilts from an Antique store in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  I love the look of worn and loved quilts.....and they are the best for snuggling up in, as they are soft and cuddly.

All of these are hand quilted.

Football games and Bruce will pick up his Dad to join us for a while and to join us for dinner.

Tomorrow, I will try and have a photo of a new quilt which I have been working on.  I am back in my routine, and that seems like a good thing!
