About my blog.....

...I write it in the evening before I go to bed and set it to post early the next morning.  I came home last evening after finishing the set of classes which I taught at Quilts Etc., where the students got a good start on Silent Night......and it was late, I was tired and hungry.  I went to bed and missed writing my post.  I missed writing it as I wasn't able to go to bed with a lovely thought to fall to sleep on.  But I'm back!

In continuing to consider this new year in its still beginning stages, I came across a thought in my journal.  It states, that carrying around old baggage will make even the strongest person stumble.  So now to consider what I'd be better off without.....thoughts, motives, etc.....you get the drift.  And I thing I'd do well to get rid of stuff that no longer serves a purpose in our home.....I find it difficult to be critical about my fabric stash however!

My pattern for Gathering Hearts will be the pattern give away for today.  It will go to the tenth person to email me their address at norma@timelesstraditionsquilts.com

This quilt was hanging in the class room at Quilts Etc. last evening.

If purchasing this quilt is something you'd consider, you could call the store in Sandy, Utah.  It is 50% off.

This is another great sale item which was in the sale room.  these cute tins with fabric for a miniature quilt....at a drastically reduced price.  Give them a call.

Our neighbor Kim, dropped by this evening so that we could be introduced to this adorable new puppy.  He is 8 weeks old.....you can tell by the size of his paws, that he will be a big dog. He is such a cute and sweet little boy.

  1. No need to consider getting rid of your fabric stash -- it certainly serves a purpose and an important purpose at that! ♥
