A Creative Day.....

I've enjoyed my day.  It is always energizing to start work on a new project.  This idea has been floating around the recesses of my mind.  And, I need to have some new projects for upcoming teaching opportunities.

At this point I can always see the adjustments that need to be made before stitching.

While in Brigham City we visited the museum there to see the antique quilt display which was hanging there.

I think that the straight line quilting is very effective on this quilt....I can see that on the alternate yellow print blocks, that it is actually cross hatched.

Neva, was a very determined lady.

A lasting legacy, outliving the maker......beautiful hand quilting.

More creative and beautiful hand quilting.

I have several more photos of these inspiring quilts, which I will share over the next few days.

  1. Thanks for sharing the museum exhibit. I look forward to seeing more. I have been intending to get over the mountain to see it, but never made it, and now it is too late.
