The leaves have been falling fast........

…….and the trees are nearly empty, except for the Oak trees, which are confused and do not loose their leaves until new growth the next spring.  It created a challenge when the limbs collect the snow.

As a family, we have been busy emptying out the remainder of Bruce's Dad's house.  It brought many memories and emotions close to the surface.

It is time to think about quilts for Christmas, and this is a relatively easy quilt to make.  It is called Christmas or Not, and will be given away today for the first person to email me at norma@timelesstraditionsquilts.com
Please remember to enclose your mailing address.  The last winner was Janelle Parker.

I continue to work on the Winter banner which will be soon to be offered on Bits and Bobs.  I decided against the snowman as I first showed it, and instead substituted it for a partridge in a pear tree.  I am busily stitching on what comes next, and am having a great time.

I am back to sharing pictures from my travels.  I remember seeing this, and thought it to be worth purchasing, but it was then 90 some degrees and winter seemed far off.

As always I appreciated this antique quilt, and the bed was pretty great too.

I love tin punch, and stopped to admire this cupboard.

I always have an eye out for old trunks, they can be used in so many ways.

This is a gorgeous applique quilt from a local quilt show.

I found this red and cream quilt absolutely stunning!

Notice the outstanding quilting.

It is no wonder it won a ribbon.
