And that is giving me all kinds of sun shiny thoughts......I don't mind rainy days but there's nothing like a sunny day, especially in spring. On a day such as this everything seems possible.....I have so many ideas and I think I can accomplish all of them!
I want to introduce you to the retreat that will be held in the picturesque little mountain town of Midway, Utah. It will be held at the Zermatt resort June 26-28. I will be one of the vendors at the retreat. If you are not attending the retreat, you should drive up for the day and investigate. When I was sorting through my quilts I discovered this table runner which I made many years ago. It is a Jan Patek design, and I was excited about finding it. I have it on a table now in my family room. It's like having old friends come for a visit!
Last evening we celebrated my husband and my daughter Katrina's birthday by going out for dinner. We went to Valter's for all of you local folks.....What an event....my husband calls it a production.....but it was a lovely one. Today I believe I should stick to tea and toast and splurge with some carrots and celery. :-)) It was a special evening. Just wish our other 2 children and their spouses were here to join us on such occasions.

I have the same table runner on my dining room table. It was appliqued and hand-quilted by my friend, Sue Olson. She did lovely work and it's one of my favorites.
