We had a rainy week end and the sky looks heavy as if it has more rain to share with us today. This all makes for snugly time at home for me, since that is where my work is situated.......and after so many years of leaving early in the morning to do home health nursing this is simply a marvelous change of events.
Garden whimsy is continuing to grow, as the rainy weather has kept me inside instead of gardening.
One thing I've noticed is that all of the people I know who have a garden, are always generous in sharing their abundance.......which is lucky for us because we do not have a spot any longer for a vegetable garden. Last year we had a thing going with the neighbor who lives behind us, we would put a basket of peaches we had purchased at the farmers market on the ledge on top of the fence, and he would put it back filled with tomatoes.
I started putting the blocks together, and this is what it will look like.
I said at the beginning that the sky looked heavy....well it is pouring down sleet.... it is just on that cusp between rain and snow......for certain it will be a day to be happily tucked inside!
