And a fresh new start, with Thanksgiving festivities to look forward to. I've been putting together my shopping list and checking it twice. Brine recipes for my turkey have been investigated and I believe I will just stick to the one my son, Ben chose last year when we were in Ohio. This our family's favorite holiday.
This is the new design I'm continuing to work on. It is a little bit of applique heaven.
Now for a few close ups.
The blocks are 12 inches finished.
You should have seen my sewing room when I was rummaging through my scraps....utter chaos.
I have been trying to incorporate a special theme into each block. I believe this house block would be delightful framed with an embroidered border around it.
I worked on this sewing caddy while in Oregon. I still need to put it together.
Rebekah L. Smith has many other fabulous ideas in her book. I have been using some of her techniques in a new pillow I have designed.
