I've been going through pictures and found these from when Julie and I found this fabulous restaurant while shopping together.
It was a rainy day and we found coziness and comfort food.
Here is the table we sat at....loved the wheat.
I approve of eating dessert first, however I selected this scone from a plethora of pastries and goodies......I brought it home with me to savor with a cup of coffee.
Julie ordered this scrumptious sandwich on wonderful crusty bread.
Good food along with good friends is always a treat.
And French onion soup for me.....:-) This is almost as fine as quilts, isn't it?
However, I have this perfectly wonderful cheery quilt from Brenda's sewing room. I do not remember anything specific about it.......just that it was charming.
Brenda found this quilt top at a garage sale for five dollars. Quite a deal right?
Someone asked about Paulette's blog. It is Sweet P Quilting and Creations. Quilt Mania did an article of her and her blog in one of their publications. She's famous! :-)
I will be back blogging after Christmas. I hope you all have a blessed and joyous Christmas. I'm happy to report that Abbie is feeling quite perky, so we will go ahead with our pans for Christmas Eve. Homemade Pizzas are on the agenda, and then time spent together playing games etc. Of course we wish that our Ohio family was with us.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." -Roald Dahl
Merry Christmas back to you and your family. Thank you for all the inspiration over the past year. Your blog is most enjoyable.
