A lovely day.....

So many of you liked the Three Little Pigs.  I will not be making a pattern for this.  However, for the person who commented about wanting to make it for their grand daughter, send me your address, and I will share the drawings that I have.  Interesting about the comment concerning the spelling for Bullies.  That is what I originally had, and my husband said that was the wrong spelling.  Oh well, what done is done! :-(

Our weather is pleasant....a nice warm day.  I found some time to stitch today, but I feel like I might be coming down with a cold. Ugh!  I've stayed well all winter.  I hope this doesn't amount to much.

The Summer Banner will soon be completed.  I'm trying to decide about the top and bottom borders.  The top and borders will make the banner about 3 - 4 inches longer that the other 3.

I still need to add a few buzzing Bees to the design.

I have the Pot Holder quilt completed.  I'm looking for a clever name, and haven't been feeling very clever!

I liked how the back turned out.  I will be teaching this at Quilter's Station in Lee's Summit.  This is a suburb of Kansas City.  The retreat will be around the third week in July.  This is a great retreat, so gather up some friends and plan to come and join us.

This is the second class I will be teaching, and am thinking about preparing a small project I've been thinking about.

Remember me mentioning about spending Saturday at a friends home in Park City with several other quilters.  Take a look at this fabulous cake which was made in a bakery in Park City.

It was four layers of carrot cake goodness.  The cake was absolutely delicious!

This slice of cake was really something.  We soon decided to cut it in half so we could each feast on 2 of the layers, and still be well stuffed!

I will share more pictures of Angela's lovely home and quilts on tomorrows post.
