Soul Soothing

Notice the little sign beneath the quilt on the wall.  SOUL SOOTHING.  During my time in Ohio while browsing through a wonderful little shop I discovered this sign.  It was a must have.  I appreciate every ones outpouring of love and support from near and far  It has encouraged me in a major way and has in deed been "soul soothing" to me.
My business separation has gratefully come to a conclusion.  A part of the agreement is that I may not disclose and particulars of the settlement.  So now you can understand why I cannot discuss this.  I will appreciate you not asking me.

On a moving forward note, the kits for at Home In the Garden are available and will be on my web site today.

  1. You may not be permitted to disclose the details of your business separation, but it is obvious that your ex-partner is keeping many of your designs and enjoying the rewards of the pattern sales and good relationships you created.

I know how much of "you" is stitched into each design and your creations are very personal as reflections of your life. Don't despair them as lost. Although someone else may be willing to pass your work of as theirs, quilters will see the patterns and love and hold dear the quilts they make from them. Even though they may not know your name, a part of you will be in each of their stitches.

Lessons continue to be learned. Unfortunately, today's appears to be that bullies some in all shapes, sizes, ages and walks of life - sometimes they are the person who smiles and calls you friend.

Keep your chin up! You have many true friends and will make many more. Your new designs will inspire us all.

    1. Thank-you for your care and concern, however, I am starting a new chapter....someone commented that I should not have allowed this comment to be published and that I should not be showing my designs without the patterns...Unfortunately, they are not mine to sell.

  2. I have always loved your designs, Norma. Wish you didn't have to deal with all that you have gone through recently, but tomorrow is a new day, and your designs truly are timeless. Wishing you the best!

  3. I am new to quilt blogging, but not new to quilting. So I am happy to be meeting you as your new life begins and you move forward. The quilt above is stunning, as is the soul soothing sign.
