The Soup's On....

When I woke up today, I looked out the window and decided it was a soup kind of day.  So the chicken is cooking in the pot.  I spent yesterday running errands and doing a little shopping.  Why is it when you have something in mind, you can never find it?  I came home disappointed, but very happy to be home none the less.  A day like that seems to zap my energy.  So, I'm happy to be home today and catch up here a bit.  I hope to complete this pillow top which is waiting for me on my design wall.  Also, I have a companion pillow over half completed.  My goal is to have both of them completed by the end of the day so they can have their photos taken and end up in a pattern.  Then I'll take a big breath for a while and enjoy my time at market.......I do have Valentine's day fluttering around at the back of my mind.
I hope you all are finding time to sew and create, now that the gardens are put to rest, the kiddies are back in school and we have days that beckon us to stay tucked inside. Since a day isn't complete without time to read...I hope you are finding time to get lost in a good story, and travel to places you've never been before from the comfort of home and hearth!
